Energy Show 2017 Review

The Energy Show 2017 got under way this year on April 5th and 6th at the RDS.

Firmly established as the flagship event for professionals in the sustainable energy sector, this free two day event is a business only exhibition showcasing leading suppliers of energy efficient and renewable energy products and services from Ireland and Europe.

Traditionally, many EMDA members exhibit at the event, and although not quite as many participated this year, all that did, agreed that it was a well turned out event.

On display, items such as the Smartflower, the worlds first all-in-one PV system really caught the attention of visitors, as did the Tesla electric motor vehicles.

Ecovolt received great interest with their Jouletherm CEP Electric Paint Heating System that can turn any wall or ceiling into a very energy efficient radiant heater. Using low energy consumption, the CeP is the world’s first ever electric paint on system. Using safe extra low voltages (22V) the CeP is suitable for every type of room.

EDL had their brand new range of Kodak lighting and energy storage systems on display. Tegral Lighting, ATC, IEBG Mitsubishi Electric, Glen Dimplex, Demesne Electrical, McLoughlinsRS, Acutrace and Reg Farrell Engineering all highlighted energy efficient electrical products and software.
