Sales Engineer - Ireland • The role will require that you become knowledgeable with both hardware and software products from various technologies across the product portfolio – Electrical, Automation & Control and Networking and Communications. • Be a problem solver for the client providing solutions to solve design challenges that they face – a genuine interest in technology. • It will require excellent communication skills including an ability to cover a portfolio of customer accounts effectively and efficiently. • Ideally, the role will require that the individual has an electrical or control systems background and has the potential or demonstrated ability to influence at various levels in client organisations. • The role will require travel within Ireland and potentially abroad in the future. Skills • Excellent communication skills are desired and while relevant industry experience in a similar role is preferred, it is not essential. • Customer focused attitude – become a problem solver for your customer. • An understanding of the different stages and demands throughout the sales lifecycle. • Ability to work autonomously & in a team environment. • Demonstrated and relevant industry knowledge and practical experience an advantage. Qualifications & Training • An educational background in Electrical and / or Control & Automation preferred but not essential. • A business or marketing qualification would be an asset including a good level of verbal and written report skills. • Competent PC and mobile digital technology skills essential. • Knowledge and experience of using CRM systems useful.
