The Role Metcollect offer a unique service within the scrap industry, the role will involve sourcing and signing up new customers to our service, whilst continuing to manage our already large portfolio of clients all over the South. The role will be varied and at times fast paced, but offers the right candidate flexibility to plan and conduct their own schedule and excellent career progression opportunities. Responsibilities: The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for the following tasks: • Identifying business leads and qualifying opportunities and converting these prospects into customers • Building customer relationships to ensure high levels of customer loyalty to the business • Organising meetings with prospective business customers, identifying their business needs and providing tailored solutions • Working with the Managing Director and Sales Director on sales strategies and approach • Ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction • Management of the sales cycle from start through to completion • Monitoring forecasts and pipeline development • Accurate reporting Ideal Person The ideal Field Sales Executive candidate must be able to display the following: • 2+ years Field Sales / Account Manager experience, ideally with experience of selling Business to Business • A proven track record in identifying and closing new business opportunities • Excellent communication skills with the ability to easily build rapport with customers at all levels • A proven record of achieving sales targets • Experience in managing customer relationships • Resilient approach to your work and a hunger to succeed Package: • Basic salary €30,000 • Generous bonus and commission structure • Company vehicle, phone and laptop Apply in strictest confidence by emailing your cv to geoff.angus@metcollect.com Metcollect are Ireland’s largest specialist cable recycling company, due to our exceptional growth in the North of Ireland, we are now seeking a driven sales professional ideally with experience in the electrical industry who will help lead our growth in the South of Ireland.
