An exciting opportunity currently exists in Edmundson Electrical, Glasnevin for an Assistant Manager. Duties: Assistant Managers are responsible for assisting the Branch Manager in the smooth running of the business and working closely with the branch manager to lead and inspire the sales team. Ensuring the team work well together and are known by customers for their outstanding customer service. Providing leadership to the team, dealing with the day to day operations, people management, budgeting, and all aspects associated with successfully managing a business. The Assistant Manager will have a minimum of 2-3 years recent experience at Management/Supervisory level in the electrical wholesale /construction or related sector and demonstrate the following: • Commercial Awareness or good business acumen • Excellent Communication skills • Strong Team Player • Leadership skills • Excellent Organisational skills • Motivation and motivation of others • Identifying and coaching talent within your team • Ability to work under pressure • Taking full responsibility for the store in the absence of the store manager Skills/experience: Proven Sales track record. Excellent presentation skills, written and spoken English.
