osnic’s Universal
Emergency Module (UEM)
is suitable for ALL class III
luminaires with integrated
LEDs and separate LED drivers,
supplying up to 3W of power
for 3 hours, irrespective of
manufacturer brand.
It is innovative and unique as it
uses “Adaptive Current Control”

With ACC, the UEM adjusts
the DC voltage output within
the module’s limits to the level
required to operate the luminaire
and then adjusts the current to
limit the power to a maximum
of 3W to ensure operation time
of 3 hours. This ensures the
UEM’s Li-ion battery discharge
time remains constant regardless
of the choice of LED luminaire,
delivering the required 3 hours of
light when operated in emergency
mode as stated by BS 5266. This
