The 3M 25 Year System Warranty

3M has a robust 25 Year System Warranty which is available to 3M Certified Installers who have attained the correct level of training certification. This warranty is designed to give the installer, the consultant and the end customer peace of mind that the installation has passed the rigorous 3M testing and approval process.

For installers to offer a warranty there is a straightforward process:

1. The warranty applies to passive network components specified and approved by 3M and installed in accordance with recognised industry and 3M standards.

2. 3M Certified Warranties are issued within 60 days of customer acceptance, subject to provision and approval of specified requirements; Name and certification number of installer, name and certification number of test person, invoice for materials, detailed drawing of installation, positive test report with valid calibrated testers, and letter of acceptance from the network owner.

3. Once this information has been sent to 3M Technical Service for evaluation, the installer can expect to hear back from 3M within 14 days. On approval the system Warranty will be issued to the End user for a 25 Year period. This gives them peace of mind that their network is going reliable and able to support their applications for the foreseeable future.
