Busy Times at ECI Lighting

-

- Advertisment -

It’s been a busy few weeks at ECI Lighting, having recently taken part in their first ever DIY SOS project for RTE which saw 6 houses completely revamped in just 9 days. The houses now host 6 families recently arrived from war-torn Ukraine. ECI produced separate lighting design layouts for each of the 6 houses, donated the products, and made the full delivery to site in double quick time.

“We couldn’t be happier with the outcome” says ECI Managing Director, Gary Dwyer. “It was a pleasure to be part of the reveal night, to see the finished homes, and in particular to meet some of the family members whose lives will be permanently changed by this amazing project. Hats off to the RTE team, and to all of the suppliers and tradespeople that took part”.

Len Slye, New Commercial Director.

In another significant piece of ECI Lighting news, Len Slye has re-joined the company as Commercial Director. Len was previously with ECI for 14 years as both a Sales Manager and UK Sales Director, before leaving to manage the EWL Wilton branch in Cork for the last almost 4 years.

Well known in the industry, Len brings a wealth of experience back to his new role, in both the Project Specification and Electrical Wholesale sectors. The staff and management at ECI would like to take this opportunity to officially welcome Len back to the team and wish him well in his new position.

In the final piece of news from ECI Lighting, the 9th edition of the Prelux catalogue is hitting the shelves as we speak. The Prelux range, which began in 2014, has grown exponentially to become the backbone of the ECI Lighting wholesale offering, enabling them to serve the industry with high quality, reliable LED lighting at an affordable price. ECI Lighting can now offer a Prelux fitting for almost any application imaginable.

This 2022-2023 edition includes several exciting new ranges including the superb Eurospot and Sofia track spot ranges, a new family of ultra slim Roma downlights and a number of additions to the highly successful Event Emergency range. Another notable inclusion is the new family of Maxi IP65 CCT power selectable bulkheads in both round and square, suitable for a wide range of commercial uses, while many existing ranges have been improved and expanded to meet market demands.
