- CEF recently held a series of TechTalk events around Ireland. First up was Sligo on 22th March, Limerick on the 23rd and finishing up in Dublin on the 25th March. All three events got a terrific turnout.
CEF brought the UK’s hugely popular and successful TechTalks to Sligo, Limerick and Dublin. Electrical experts Darren Staniforth and Dave Austin presented to large audiences to help bring Irish audiences up to speed with Ireland’s electrical standards and changes in our industry.
This free to attend event focused on emerging technologies and Irish standard I.S. 10101:2020 and how they should be considered and implemented.
Several manufacturers/distributors supported the events and exhibited on the days.
These events were supported by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) and had staff members there to answer any questions.
CEF’s TechTalks are CPD accredited, meaning attendees can use information from the day as part of their on-going professional development.
The presenters hands on approach seemed to be really appreciated by the contractors.
Topics were very relevant to the audience. Working safely with PMEsupplies, EV charging point installations, RCD workshop, AFDD’s explained, SPD’s explained, Battery storage systems and finished off with an extensive Q and A session.
There was `also a draw for a Milwaukee Combi Drill Pack in each location.
