Cutterwell: A Trusted Cable Management Legacy, Now Available in Ireland

A familiar range of high-quality cable management products has a new name and is now available across the Republic of Ireland through a new partnership with Nolan Lighting & Electrical Solutions.

Cutterwell is the brand behind the extensive portfolio formerly produced under the Mita and Schneider Electric names, manufactured by the same skilled team at the same site in Flint, North Wales. For Irish wholesalers and contractors, that means the same dependable products they have relied on for years, now backed by local distribution within the Republic of Ireland.

The rebrand follows the acquisition of the Schneider Electric Mita extrusion, moulding and assembly facility by Goodfish Group, leading to the launch of Cutterwell. The business has a clear mission: to supply the electrical wholesale market with reliable, high-quality cable management systems, supported by consistent stock availability, accurate product information and responsive customer service.

To bring the range to the Irish market, Cutterwell has partnered with Nolan Lighting & Electrical Solutions, which will act as the official distributor for the Republic of Ireland. The partnership provides electrical wholesalers with a direct, local source for the full Cutterwell portfolio, supported by strong stock availability and expert product support. Wholesalers throughout the Republic of Ireland can now source the complete Cutterwell range through Nolan Lighting & Electrical Solutions.

Many across the electrical industry will recognise Flint as the original home of Mita cable management. Under Cutterwell, that legacy continues unchanged, with more than 300 products now unified under a single brand and offered as a direct replacement for the former Mita range.

The portfolio includes perimeter trunking systems such as Ultimate, Cableline, Consort, Delta, Carlton and the AT Series, alongside TRK heavy-duty trunking, EM1W to EM5W mini trunking (also available in self-adhesive versions), conduit and fittings, as well as multi-compartment floor boxes and power poles.

All existing product codes have been retained, eliminating the need to relabel shelves or relearn catalogues. Cutterwell also offers a comprehensive Buyer’s Guide featuring technical specifications, product indexes and visual references to simplify product selection and ordering.

“From day one, our focus has been continuity,” said Richard Beale, Managing Director at Cutterwell. “We’ve preserved the range, the quality and the experienced team behind it, while enhancing the customer experience through improved processes and a more focused brand identity.”

“We’re delighted to have teamed up with Nolan Lighting & Electrical Solutions and look forward to supporting electrical wholesalers and contractors throughout the Irish market together.”

Robert Nolan, Managing Director, Nolan Lighting & Electrical Solutions

“We’re pleased to bring the Cutterwell range to customers across the Republic of Ireland. The brand combines a trusted product heritage with excellent availability and support, making it a valuable addition to our portfolio and a strong offering for electrical wholesalers nationwide.”
