Damien Heffernan has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at AP Haslam, bringing with him a breadth of commercial and operational experience well suited to one of Ireland’s best-known electrical distributors. His arrival comes at a time when scale, efficiency and strategic focus are increasingly critical across the electrical supply chain.
Damien’s career spans a wide range of sectors including retail, logistics and distribution, underpinned by deep roots in family business and first-hand experience of entrepreneurship, having run his own companies earlier in his career. A graduate with a B.A. in Business & Marketing, he has built a reputation as a commercially minded leader with a strong ability to align people, processes and strategy to deliver sustainable growth.
Most recently, He held a senior leadership role at ISME, where he led across commercial strategy, membership growth, partnerships and organisational operations.
