Kirby - CEF Limerick
Brendan Heffernan and Gerard Kenny of CEF with some of the Kirby Electrical Team was more than happy to go to Tipperary to visit the Barry family home for the Big Reveal Day of the Irish version of DIY SOS TV Show.

This particular edition of the show focussed on the Barry Family. After complaining of vision problems in his eye over Christmas 2018, Michael was admitted to hospital in January 2019. He was diagnosed with a brain tumour and further tests revealed it was a Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma. A subsequent scan revealed the disease had spread to his back, liver and lungs. In a matter of weeks Michael’s health deteriorated. He slipped into a coma on March 23rd and passed away surrounded by Sinéad and their 3 young children. He was only 34-years-old.

DIY SOS called for volunteers to help finish the build of the family home that Michael had already started on.

CEF of Limerick
got involved and supplied the electrical equipment to Kirby Electrical, the main electrical contractor on the job.
