- Advertisment -

Members of the Electro-Technical Council of Ireland and the Electrical Industries Federation of Ireland met recently to mark the establishment of a new ETCI bursary.

The bursary is intended to support the development and education of future electrical industry employees throughout the sector. EIFI President Sean Downey who received the cheque from ETCI Chairman Adrian Harney said “this bursary will establish a great legacy for the ETCI. For over 40 years the ETCI has on a voluntary basis helped to develop technical standards for the electrical sector.

We now hope that with the passing of electro-technical standards over to NSAI’s ETC Committee we will have continued support and leadership in this critically important area.

The bursary will help to provide support for future electro-technical, craft and industry employees and help to generate greater technical excellence across the sector.”
