  • Niedax CMS, part of the renowned multinational cable management Niedax Group, recently celebrated its 20-year milestone in Ireland with an open day event at its premises in Tralee, Co. Kerry. This marked not only two decades of excellence but also the enduring spirit of a company that has overcome challenges and triumphed in the competitive landscape of Ireland and the United Kingdom.

In September 2003, the Niedax distribution rights in Ireland and the UK were acquired by KHP Products, headquartered in Tralee, through a management buyout from the Niedax Group. This pivotal decision marked the birth of Niedax CMS, and since then, they have been on a trajectory of growth and innovation that has earned them a formidable reputation in the industry.

To commemorate this historic 20-year journey, Niedax CMS organised a two-day celebration that brought customers from all over Ireland, and even abroad, as well as suppliers, former employees, and friends. There was a lovely atmosphere  as attendees revelled in the festivities and the sense of community that has always defined Niedax CMS.

The celebration kicked off with a fabulous reception hosted at the Rose Hotel in Tralee on Thursday night. The event extended into the early hours of the following day, with attendees sharing stories, reminiscing about the past, and forging new connections. This event was a testament to the bonds that have been forged over the years and the appreciation Niedax CMS has for its clients, partners, and well-wishers.

Friday was marked by an Open Day at the Niedax CMS factory and offices, which were opened to the public. As a German-owned company, it was only fitting that the celebration featured an array of authentic German treats, including Bratwurst, German beers, and wine. The Rockabilly band, “The Moon Shakers,” set the perfect backdrop with their foot-tapping tunes, adding to the festive ambiance.

The Open Day provided a unique opportunity for the local community and industry enthusiasts to get a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of Niedax CMS. Visitors could witness firsthand the dedication and innovation that have propelled the company to what they are today.

Ken and Norma, instrumental in organising the event, deserve special recognition for their dedication and hard work in making the celebration a resounding success. Their efforts were pivotal in bringing together such a diverse and vibrant group of people.

The celebration marked not just a milestone but also perhaps the beginning of a new chapter for Niedax CMS. With the positive energy and sense of community that permeated the event. Niedax CMS will, no doubt, continue to thrive and grow, and perhaps have the opportunity to host a similar event in the years to come.
