Simply Klik…

the future of wiring

heating systems made

easy!

Hager’s Klik distribution box is at the heart of

Chronotherm’s new heating package - an ideal

heating solution choice for electricians and plumbers.

Designed to make the wiring of an entire heating

system simple, with easy connection of all heating controls,

especially motorised valves, it’s as simple as Klik!

The concept has been designed by Hager, Chronotherm and

Vintero, with Hager’s innovative 7 pin Klik at its core. Klik

provides the mechanical and electrical connection in just one

plug-in action. The installation and on-going maintenance

advantages to using the Klik Heating System make it the

safest choice on the market.

Until now, the main problem when installing heating systems

was the amount of wiring involved. Wiring was often

confusing and at times problematic when meeting

maintenance requirements. Historically, throughout Ireland,

heating systems were installed using a multi-block connector

wiring centre. The resulting jumble of cables (shown below)

meant that any maintenance of the heating system would

be very time consuming and labour intensive. Klik is a game

changer in the installation process, eliminating most of the

connector box. What makes Klik unique, other than its

simplicity, is that the system allows individual isolation to

With this new product, motorised valve actuators can be

plugged-in in seconds, without circuit isolation and provide

full interlock, as required under Part L of the Irish building

regulations. This secure design also prevents disconnection

of the plug from its socket by vibration or snatch

withdrawals. The klik product exceeds relevant standard

requirements and also allows for compliance with IEE wiring

regulations and safety regulations.

Safety is a hallmark feature of Hager products and this was

a major driver for the introduction of this offer to the market

through partner Chronotherm. Mechanical and electrical

connections made in one ‘click-in’ action make for an

klik allows the individual motorised valves to be removed

for maintenance without affecting the other heating controls

on the circuit; this ensures that maintenance tests and

installation tasks can be carried out speedily and safely. All
