average only 15 minutes! Programmer and thermostats are
wired into a klik Marshalling Box which can cater for up to
three zones. The Marshalling Box has seven copper

room stat two, cylinder stat, permanent live, neutral, earth
and switched live out. The plug-in connectors are designed
similar to a key and only zone one, for example, will activate
when the relevant klik connector is attached to the
Marshalling Box (hence the importance of the connector
colour coding). The kilk product is compatible with
Chronotherm and many other suppliers’ wired, wireless
controls and smart thermostats.
To ensure compliance with ETCI Rule 613:13 how do you
carry out the mandatory Volt Check? How do you carry
out the Fault Loop Impedance Measurement?
For safety reasons, each heating Marshalling Box has a

However, the great advantage of this fourth connection point
is that this is where the loop impedance and RCD testing is
performed using appropriate testing equipment.
Now’s the time to take advantage of the many benefits of
Klik heating system.
The klik heating package is the ideal solution for a 2 and 3
zone installation but can cater for multi zones if required. It
also ensures that the mandatory Volt Check and Fault Loop
Impedance Measurement check is a pain free task. The
solution was introduced to the Irish market last year, has
been demonstrated at trade shows throughout 2015 and is
installed successfully at a number of residential sites across
Dublin. At an additional cost of approx. €150 to install per
house, we see safe and efficient installations, with savings
made by the installer due to less time spent on site. This has
generated an unprecedented degree of excitement across
the industry and soon will be the future of wiring home
heating solutions.
