RFE (Reg Farrell Engineering Limited) are extremely proud to have been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification. Our decision to work towards the revised ISO 9001:2015 certification well in advance of the mandatory date of September 2018 demonstrates our commitment to providing a high-quality and consistent service to our clients and our ongoing investment in technology, development, processes and procedures.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, NSAI’s Head of Business Excellence, Fergal O’Byrne congratulated RFE on achieving certification to international standards. “Certification helps support businesses like yours as they develop and grow. Additionally, standards help to create a greater sense of pride within an organisation, increase staff satisfaction and improve staff retention,” said Mr O’Byrne.
“Of course, achieving certification takes hard work and dedication. It can only occur when a team of smart, competent, dedicated people work together, but it also takes great leadership and a team effort. I commend you all for reaching this point,” he added.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification requires organisations to demonstrate that they have a quality management system that safeguards consistency and improvement, assuring customers of high levels of performance and satisfaction while ensuring processes and procedures are maintained.

Mr Ian Checkley, Managing Director, adds “The benefits of achieving the new ISO Standard goes far beyond meeting customer requirements. Managing our systems helps to enhance the professionalism of our business operations. I am extremely thankful and proud of the team at RFE for their commitment & engagement during this process which will provide the best possible service to our customers. In particular, our special thanks to Ms. Ciara McEvoy our QC Manager at RFE for leading this project.”

Ian also acknowledges Mr. Tomas O’Hare from Tomas O’Hare & Associates for his involvement to implement ISO management systems in order for RFE to achieve ISO 9001 certification.
