Founded in 1961, Rittal is the biggest subsidiary of the Friedhelm LohGroup.  It specialises in the manufacture of electrical enclosures for use in industrial and IT settings.

With Rittal Ireland, it has always been about supplying quality products and giving high quality technical and sales support.  The new office in the heart of Dublin’s industrial and IT sectors really gives them the opportunity of being close to some of their major customers.

EPLAN, a sister company of Rittal will also be based at the new Dublin office. EPLAN provides software and service solutions in the fields of electrical, automation and mechatronic engineering. They develop one of the world’s leading design software solutions for machine, plant and panel builders.

Wayne Moody, Sales Director told us “Our journey over the past few years has been an exciting one. We anticipate that we will continue to grow on an upward trajectory with the endeavour of our Rittal Ireland team and more importantly the loyalty and support of our Rittal Ireland Customers. We very much look forward to working alongside our distributors and partners again in 2023”.

To celebrate and bring a little bit of history to the occasion, Rittal brought a party of customers to the Guinness Storehouse where they were given a tour of the 250 year-old premises, followed by a tasting experience. Many also took the opportunity to learn how to correctly pull a perfect pint of Guinness.
