Schneider Electric’s Annual Golf Event Delivers on Fun, Competition, and Charity

Schneider Electric hosted its Annual Customer Golf Event on August 15, 2024, at the Palmer North Course at the K Club. Although the day began with overcast skies and rain, the weather soon cleared, making way for an excellent day on the course. Over seventy customers attended, and the course’s impeccable condition contributed to some outstanding scores.

After an enjoyable afternoon of golf, participants gathered at the Palmer North Clubhouse for a delicious barbecue, followed by a prizegiving ceremony. The top performers of the day were:

1st Place: Gerry Maher, Edward Smith, Shane Russell, Mark Coyne

2nd Place:Eamon Dervan, Padraig Conroy, Tom Burke

3rd Place:Martin Duffy, James Murtagh, Terry McCarney

Mark Keogh, Sales Director at Schneider Electric, reflected on the day, saying, “It was a fantastic day filled with great golf, networking, and camaraderie. The participation of our customers made it a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone. We eagerly anticipate many more successful events together in the future.”

In addition to the day’s festivities, Schneider Electric hosted a “Beat the Pro” competition to support the Irish Electrical Benevolent Association. Participants donated to challenge Gary Murphy, the K Club’s Head Golf Professional, on the third hole. The event raised a total of €1,047, and Schneider Electric further demonstrated its commitment by pledging an additional €1,000 donation.
