  • Tribute to the memory of Graham Jones.

The Irish charity sector is finding life difficult in these pandemic times.  ELECTRIC.IE was pleased to support a small local charity operating in Dublin city centre.

Solas Project is a charity with a mission to build long-term relationships with children and young people at risk of being marginalised by society, specifically, through the education, employment and justice systems.  Delivering a range of innovative interventions from childhood through adolescence and into early adulthood Solas Project seeks to equip and empower young people to live life to the full and enable them to make a meaningful contribution to society.

Enthusiastic volunteers decided to honour the memory of the late
co-founder of Solas Project, Graham Jones, by completing his plan of a charity cycle from Mizen to Malin as a fund raiser.  The gruelling cycle has raised almost €20,000 to date which will provide much needed support to disadvantaged young people.
