TEC Electric has been acquired by Kempston Controls. The deal, which was completed on the 28th of February 2020, will give Kempston Controls a base in the all-important EU market to run alongside its operations in the UK and the Middle East.

Richard Regan, Group Managing Director of Kempston Controls, said,

‘”We are really excited about this new chapter in the history of these two businesses and I know both teams will try really hard to make it work for our customers and suppliers. This coming together has been a long-time in the making and now we have achieved our objective I look forward to making TEC Electric the number one choice for our Irish customers new and old.”

About Kempston Controls

Established in 1940 as a specialist distributor of American manufactured components. This business has been developed over the years to service the needs of a much broader audience, and through the careful choice of franchises, Kempston Controls has become a specialist technical distributor of electrical components, with an enviable reputation for stock and service.

Kempston Controls has a very strong reputation in the market for both the quality of its product range and the level of technical service they provide making TEC Electric the perfect fit to join the family.

Going Forward…

The combined businesses will aim to provide the very best in customer service and technical support which will mean new investment in people and stock for TEC Electric.

TEC Customers – What do I do now?

For TEC customers nothing changes, please continue as normal. You can still place orders as you normally would and any existing orders will not be affected. For any queries, please get in touch via the usual channels.

In addition to this now TEC customers will have access to  a wider range of products and manufacturers by getting in touch with TEC directly or by visiting Kempstoncontrols.ie. Manufacturers such as SICK, ABB, Danfoss, Siemens, Pepperl & Fuchs and many many more are in stock with speedy delivery via UPS.

The company looks forward to this new journey and being able to offer a much wider range of stock, far greater availability and the same excellent customer service that you have come to expect from both TEC Electric & Kempston Controls.
