Thirteen Years of Electric.ie Magazine

In the interconnected world of electrical manufacturing, distribution and contracting Electric.ie has quietly established itself as one of Ireland’s most enduring and trusted trade publications.

Published by Electric Bureau Ireland Ltd., Electric.ie serves as a dedicated magazine and online platform for professionals across the Irish electrical industry — from wholesalers and distributors to installers and technical specifiers.

Since its first issues appeared in early 2013, Electric.ie has consistently covered developments within the Irish electrical sector. By the end of 2025 the magazine marked 13 years of continous publication without missing an issue —a notable milestone when we consider events such as the COVID pandemic.

Electric.ie positions itself squarely as “The Magazine for the Irish Electrical Industry”. It is distributed free across wholesale trade counters throughout Ireland and via representatives of electrical distributors, as well as postal mailshots and online versions distributed by newsletters.

Editorial content spans new product launches, technical papers, installation project case studies and reports from major trade events.

Distribution is free to ensure maximum reach within the trade, aligning with the publication’s mission to inform, connect and elevate standards of practice across Ireland’s electrical supply chain.

The magazine reports extensively on events such as the EIFI Electrical Industry Awards, the AECI Trade Show, the Solar & EV Show and various technical trade shows throughout the year, highlighting trends from energy-efficient technologies to regulatory shifts.

In a sector where technical know-how and product updates can directly impact safety and competitiveness, Electric.ie fills a vital niche — bridging manufacturers, wholesalers, engineers and installers with the latest news, insights and best practices.

Many people have asked for old copies of the magazine so we have displayed here the cover of every edition that we have printed to date. If you would like to see the content of a particular edition, we have an archive section on the www.electric.ie that might just bring you to the article that you want. just go to “ALL EDITIONS” on the main website toolbar.
