What to Consider when Choosing Lighting for a Warehouse – Aurora Lighting

-

- Advertisment -

Warehouses are often large spaces with high ceilings that require adequate lighting in order to function effectively. When specifying the lighting it is important to ensure to get it right the first time and try avoiding cheap fixtures as this is only likely to lead to additional costs at a later date. The fitting and maintenance of warehouse lighting is expensive and often requires specialist equipment such as cherry pickers which make fixtures with a high failure rate very unappealing.

Aurora’s Comprehensive Range of Highbays
Aurora’s highly efficient and popular Ariah™ LED highbay range has an efficacy of 150lm/W LED and are a perfect solution for nearly any industrial application and installation. Using the latest in high performing LED technology with 1-10V dimming as standard, they are perfect for maximising energy savings, especially when used with daylight or occupancy sensors. Available in 100W, 150W and 200W versions.

The Hulk™PRO highbay range provides a solution for the different areas within a warehouse or storage area in that there is a wide beam distribution fitting for the open plan areas and an axial narrow beam distribution fitting for the racking isles, allowing the client to install two versions of the same fitting across the application. Available both as an integral sensored and integral maintained emergency option, this range allows clients to satisfy all the requirements of the project.

LED Linear Perfect for Lower Ceilings
Certain areas in warehouse, such as mezzanines and corridors, may have much lower ceilings and therefore highbays would not be suitable. In this instance Aurora’s popular BatPacPRO and LinearPacs, designed with polycarbonate housings would be the perfect solution.

Don’t forget Emergency Lighting

Aurora are pleased to now offer a complete Emergency Lighting range suitable for all warehouse applications. The range includes an Emergency Bulkhead, Twin Spot, Wall Mounted Slim Exit Box, Blade, Exit Sign and Surface Mounted Downlight. The range includes a choice of both maintained and non-maintained solutions plus manual test and self test options, designed for use in a wide range of applications. The Twin Spot Self Test version is particularly popular in warehouse applications as the fixtures are often difficult to access.

Make Smart with AOne Control
Aurora’s AOne is the world’s widest range of smart lighting and can easily make over 1000 of Aurora’s products smart. The AOne covers power, lighting and control, is easy to install and extremely cost effective when compared with traditional smart lighting systems. This smart feature, which can be installed on all new and existing installations, adds lighting management, cost savings, reliability and operational efficiency. Added smart control is particularly useful in warehouse environments when large areas are often left unused for long periods of time.
