As the market leader in Fire & Gas detection, the Ei team are making it even easier for homes to be protected from the dangers of fire and carbon monoxide. Their latest innovation, the ‘Alarm Selector’ App has been designed with installers, fire safety consultants and designers in mind.

With a wide range of fire and CO alarm options, the new App guides you through a number of easy to follow steps to confidently choose  the right alarms based on current Irish standards and regulations. Saving time at the trade counter has never been easier as installers can send stock enquiries created in the App directly to their local wholesaler at the push of a button.

Lists for each property can be created through the interactive house feature. By selecting a room in the house the App automatically shows installers what options they have based on their selections. These options span multiple sensor, power and interconnection types as well as product accessories.

“This feature makes it simple for installers to know exactly what they need at the push of a button. It is essentially a digital and user-friendly version of our product selector book.” says Country Manager Tom Meehan.

The app also boasts full access to detailed fire and CO alarm regulation information as well as a new suite of ‘How To’ Videos. These videos include full tutorials on key product related queries such as house coding for wireless interconnection of alarms and much more.

With many events cancelled over the last few months, the team have been focusing on growing their digital resources as well as continuing excellent standards of customer support by phone and email.

Other Apps in the fire and CO market leaders portfolio include AudioLINK, for extracting alarm data such as battery and sensor condition, previous alarm events and testing frequency. 2020 also saw the launch of Ei’s SmartLink App for the installation of their new Gateway product the Ei1000G.
