Founded in 2005, Lightsolutions is well-established as innovative consultants in Emergency Lighting Safety Systems.  They offer design, commissioning, supply and servicing of emergency and energy saving lighting product and systems in the Irish and international markets.

Lightsolutions supply a full range of exit signage and escape lighting for all applications.  All products are manufactured in compliance with EN60598 and are ICEL approved.  Products can also be supplied with DALI control gear for remote monitoring. An overnight lighting service can be provided for conversion of existing light fittings to emergency operation, covering the full range of LED fittings. Luminaires are converted integrally using the latest LED emergency electronic control gear converting the existing LEDs or adding in a standalone solution.  All conversions are in compliance with ICEL 1004.

A comprehensive turnkey service is offered for emergency lighting, providing project design, commissioning and preventative maintenance contracts. It is a legal requirement that all public premises are in compliance with IS3217:2013, the emergency lighting standard issued by the NSAI. Lightsolutions FETAC qualified service engineers also carries out general lighting maintenance and repairs inhouse and on site.

With over thirty years’ experience in the industry David Vaughan, managing director of Lightsolutions, is acknowledged as an expert in all areas of emergency lighting.  He is a CPD lecturer with Engineers Ireland, delivering regular briefings on industry developments.  He is a member of ICEL and the LIA, and a director of LAI, the Lighting Association of Ireland.  David leads a team of fully-qualified and certified engineers, who can devise tailored solutions to complex lighting issues.

Lightsolutions has completed many prestigious projects.  The list includes LED retrofits to OPW, Alto Vetro Apartments and Obertstown prison along with emergency lighting systems to Google Velasco and Spencer North.
