Joe Gouldsbury Retires from Ledburn Cables

Joe joined ECW in 1980. At that time their main products were copper wire and copper tube. In 1983 they expanded the product range to include cables and gradually over the years they became a major distributor to the wholesale trade in Ireland. Joe was instrumental in the development of this market.

In 2017, ECW went into liquidation. Joe then joined Ledburn Cables in June of the same year. It was a seamless transition as he was dealing with the same products and the same customer base.

“I wish to thank all of my customers for their great support over the years and wish them well for the future” Joe says.

“I send best wishes to all of my former colleagues in ECW and to Ledburn Cables.

I will miss the craic and the daily banter that I have always had while dealing with customers over the years.

What I won’t miss is being told ‘you’re too dear’ .”
