Siemens Limited, Ireland has announced the appointment of Joe Walsh as General Manager with effect from 4th November 2021, at which point he also joined the board of Siemens Limited.
In parallel, Joe will continue to lead the Solutions and Service business unit of Siemens Ireland, which includes Fire Safety, Electronic Security, Building Automation and Smart Lighting.
Joe is an authentic leader, who brings energy and enthusiasm to all aspects of his life. With this natural quality, he strives to empower all he engages with to fulfil their potential.
His focus will be on driving Siemens’ continued growth and customer satisfaction with particular attention on the market for intelligent, adaptive infrastructure required to address the challenges and opportunities of urbanization and climate change.
Joe will continue his roles as a member of the NSAI TC16 Fire Safety Standards Committee and Chair of Working Group 2- Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.
