Kellihers, part of the Rexel Group since 2006, are the first wholesaler to open a Distribution hub in Ireland showing their commitment to the Irish market and ensuring a continuous supply of product to Irish electrical installers.

The impressive new state-of-the-art Distribution Centre has 100,000 square feet of warehouse space and is located on the Naas Road with easy access to the whole country ensuring faster stock availability at the branches.

The Rexel Ireland Unit has been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ certification from BREEAM and achieved the highest score, making it the MOST SUSTAINABLE BUILDING IN IRELAND. This is a great achievement for the electrical wholesaler and promoter of energy solutions, with a strong sustainability agenda and backed up by the global Rexel Group.

Rexel’s investment in this Distribution Centre allows them to continue to lead the market in customer service through an improved delivery promise, product availability and sustainability offer. They have always invested in high levels of stock, positioning their business as a reliable supply chain partner to electrical installers around the country.

They also have a reputation for being first-to-the-Irish-market with innovative product like LED lighting, and more recently renewable energy products like PV panels, inverters and accessories as well as EV chargers and energy efficient heating. A Distribution Centre of this scale offers Kellihers the opportunity to bring an even more innovative product selection to electrical contractors and installers.

We can’t wait to see what’s next for this wholesaler – watch this space!
